The Secret To Crystal Clarity

Wouldn't it be great if we could have absolute clarity before we make important decisions? What does that even mean and why do we struggle with it? We are so overloaded with information everyday that it makes focussing on what's important increasingly difficult. So what can we do about it? Here are some tips: 1. Recharging and refocussing are vital to achieve clarity. This can be accomplished by being mindful, taking a walk outside during your work day, thinking about what makes you happy, meditating, exercising, focussing on your past accomplishments, etc. This gives your brain the opportunity to 'reset' so you don't feel so overwhelmed. 2. Ask yourself what you need to focus on to help you move forward. 3. What's the next small step you can take in the right direction? 4. What do you need to know to make a good decision? 5. How can you feel confident in your decision even if you don't have all the answers but need to move forward anyway? 6. What would happen if you waited to try to figure everything out before acting? Are you procrastinating? If so, why? What is it costing you by doing this? Asking yourself these questions may give you a clue as to why you're stuck and not able to clearly see what you need to do, or confidently take the next step. 7. How important is it to make a decision even if you don't have all the answers? 8. How have you handled a similar situation in the past? Reflecting on past successes can give you the clarity you need to move forward. 9. What's the worst that can happen if you make a decision and it doesn't turn out as you had hoped? What's a positive way to look at that outcome? This helps you see things from different angles so you can clearly identify possibilities and how you can most effectively handle them. 10. Stop. Smile. Breathe. It will all be ok in the end. There are opportunities in every outcome even if it doesn't turn out the way you had hoped. Every situation is helping you get to where you need to be on your journey.
The key to being really clear and confident in your decisions even when you don't have all the answers, is to be guided by your intuition; to understand who you really are at your core; to be confident in who you are and tap into your inner wisdom to do what is right for you, both in your personal and professional lives. Here's what one of my clients had to say about our strategy session:
"It was a complete pleasure speaking with you on the phone recently. Thanks so much for the time you spent with me and even though it was an introductory strategy call, I found that call with you very special. I think your work with woman is outstanding.
Since my brief call with you, I've had a lot more confidence on the phone calls related to my phone interviews, and more energy towards job hunting. I've also thought a lot about your input as it relates to procrastination vs. fear of failure, etc. All this was very insightful to hear from you. I'm very inspired by meeting you.
I actually do think you are the best thing that has happened to me in 2015 so far!
You uncovered some deep things and in that short call had great tips for me that I could use the same day. Since talking to you, I've had a lot more stamina and endurance to get back into job hunting related calls.
I'm very glad to have met you and thanks for considering me for one of the 10 women to work with in 2015! Thanks also for your encouraging energy and time."
''That inner voice has both gentleness and clarity. So to get to authenticity, you really keep going down to the bone, to the honesty, and the inevitability of something." ~ Meredith Monk
